Mixing and Mastering
The Mixing Engineer (Mixer for short) is resposible for putting all the elements of the song together tastefully with the end result being the mixdown. A mix can make or break a record. It is important that the emotion, intention and overall feeling/vibe is translated well on all systems such as your car, phone, home system and much more! LaGuil Specialized in fixing audio that wasn't recorded very well and also reviving Drums and Noisey audio.
The Mastering Engineer is responsible for taking the Mixdown and preparing it for distribution on CD or streaming services such as Spotify, iTunes, Youtube, Soundcloud and Tidal.
Recording
LaGuil brings you his experience with Grammy award-winning producers and writers to your sessions in order to get the best out of your vocal performance. Vocal Performance is the most important roll in a record. The use of Melodyne is only when necessary.

LaGuil is a multi-talented mix engineer, producer and composer from Ottawa, Canada. A true master of sound, LaGuil has built a reputation amongst his peers for being the glue that helps bring all the elements of a song together. Best known for his multi-dimensional mixes of R&B and hip-hop beats, his work can be heard on Illyminiachi - ??? (Three Question Mark EP), Maurice Moore’s Amber Room and Deen Squad’s Melo Deen. LaGuil has also collaborated with other artists including Arin Ray, City Fedelia, Kapri, Kevin McCall, Dante Leon, DVBBS, Troy Taylor, Harvey Mason Jr, producer NDMA and many more. In addition to these notable artists, he’s also mixed for large scale events like Ottawa Bluesfest where he did live vocal mixing with autotune. LaGuil’s expertise goes far beyond producing, making him a highly sought-after music maker in Canada’s music scene. He’s also known for composing, audio production, vocal production, mixing/mastering, vocal and rhythm arrangement, writing and remixing -- making him the key ingredient to every project he touches in the studio.
